Welcome to the Institute of Spiritual Companionship
 
The Institute of Spiritual Companionship is a program based on the belief that spirituality is not a separate part of life but rather the deepest dimension and ground of all life. Now in our 25th year, we are drawn in the direction of the ministry of companioning others on their spiritual journey.
 

 

New for 2010 are two group programs, both starting in January: Reclaiming Your Creative Spirit with Richard Bough and The Transformative Power of Dreams with Mary Ellen Ryley. We hope you will join us! Please select the 2010 Programs button to the left for more information, and to register.
 
The Institute is currently implementing a new vision, building on our strong history and faculty resources while refining programs and developing new ways of supporting individuals, groups and communities of faith with their spiritual companioning needs. Excerpts from our Visioning Report – select the button to the left – will tell you more.
 
We have completed 12 two-year formation programs in one-to-one spiritual direction/ companionship, and a pilot program in group and retreat spiritual companionship/ direction leadership.  Be sure to select the ISC2 and GSC buttons for more information.
